LET'S RUN AWAY

Here’s a poem/song (I can’t really decide which it is) on November 9th, 2009. I haven’t really shared it with..anyone basically.
_
We’ve ran this road before to the left to the right
Are we still precious in His sight?
Run little ones, run run run
There’s no turning back
How could he have us back?
_
What the hay, let’s run away
Dreams dying, faces crying, no more lying
Far, Far away we’ll ride this highway
_
Long, Long ago He said He’d show me the way
If I ever turned away
But he’s a ways away
If I run His way, I’m too afraid of what He just might say
I’ve ran so far this way
_
What the hay, let’s run away
Dreams dying, faces crying, no more lying
Far, Far away we’ll ride this highway
_
As the rain pours, here comes the dawn
Take a seat in the grass
Come on, let’s think on the past
If I run to Him maybe He’ll run to me
Just wait
We’ll wait to see
_
What the hay, I guess I’ll stay
Dreams flying, faces smiling, I’m done with lying
No more tears, no more pain, It’s always the same.
_
I’ve gone a long long way
But it’s time to turn and face His way
Before time began, I started off in Your hand
I wasn’t a tricycle, motorcycle, bicycle
‘Cuz you molded me like clay
Unique all the way
_
What the hay, I guess I’ll stay
Dreams flying, faces smiling, I’m done with lying
No more tears, no more pain, It’s always the same.

WELL HERE WE GO!

Well, I never thought I’d start a blog. Odd. Here goes nothing.
I’m heading out to Mozambique, Africa tomorrow for almost 11 weeks, or I guess technically today. That’s kind of a shocker, it hasn’t quite sunk in. It’s going to be hard hard hard, and good good good. I know it. But it’s always hard to leave somewhere. Sometimes it’s just nice for somewhere to become home, after leaving the place you called home, but then you have to leave the new home again, which isn’t always the most fun experience.  I’ll be back soon enough I guess. It’s just a whole lot to process.
Anyway, I’m planning to use this blog to keep you updated with what’s going on in Pemba, Mozambique, Africa while I’m there. So, this is the place to check, I guess. There will be other cool, fun, random stuff posted here too. So…Live your life, and love it.
The End.
